Something a little different
this year in the Florida Summer Series. Racing on Day 1 takes
place under the lights, with Day 2 the next morning. Tom has some
spectacular shots of the wild action on and off the track in the series
opener at Middleburg BMX. Tom will have these photos available at
the rest of the Summer Series races.

| The 2005 Florida State Series has come to a close, and as usual, it
ended with a huge awards ceremony. This year, the event took place at
the Kissimmee Civic Center near the center of the state. Everyone who
raced the Championship Race received a number plate they will proudly
display for the next year. Tom was there to capture the moment and the
emotions of this occassion. These are the pictures you'll want to
paste in the scrapbook or send to the grandparents. Here's a look at
all of the 2005 Florida Champions.

Tom
headed to Alabama in April to bring back some great photos from the
'Heart of Dixie'. Oak Mountain is a beautiful setting for BMX
racing, and the racers really enjoyed their visit. We've got
photos from Sunday's motos and mains for you to browse through, and as
always, Tom will have lots more photos available at the races he
attends. So, the next time you see the Izor tent stop in and take
a peek.

The
2005 Florida State Series made a stop in Sarasota for Qualifiers 7
& 8, and the racers tore up the track! The high banked
corners of Sarasota kept the speeds high as well. Jumping skills
were definitely necessary if you wanted to make that big triple!
We've posted 18 gallerys filled with pictures of most of the racers in
Sunday's competition.

Racers
came from around the state to try and tame the 'Monster Mile', but few
mastered the beast. A very long track with a few tricky jumps
meant lots of bumps and bruises to those who tested the toughness of
the track. In the end, the winners were the ones with the most
speed and skill - and a bit of luck. Tom took a bunch of
pictures, so if you raced Jacksonville you're probably in some of them.

Traditionally,
one of the
Qualifier weekends of the Florida State Series doubles as a
Regional/National race. This year, the riders zeroed in on the
speed capital of the United States for another great weekend of racing
in Daytona. The competitors were flying around the track, and
sometimes over it, in some of the wildest action of the series.

This
very special series
of pictures is Tom's way of saying 'thanks' to everyone who races
BMX. These photos will not have the usual 'watermark' written
across them, because they are free to download. All he asks is
that they be for your personal use and not used for commercial
purposes. Tom is scheduled to be at all of the Florida Qualifier
races, so stop by and take a look at the rest of his great BMX photos.

One
of the most popular
series of photos is the "Crash and Burn" segment. It happens to
all of us at one time or another, but these are captured for everyone
to agonize over. Hopefully, looking at these pictures will remind
you to pull the chinstrap a little tighter and to make sure all of your
pads are in place!

One
of the favorite spots
to race in the summertime is also one of the oldest in the NBL - South
Park. Tom brought back over 1200 pictures from the event, so
you're sure to find some of your special racers.

The
opening rounds of the
2005 Florida State Series were packed with action and Tom was there to
catch it all. Over 400 great photos are posted from the Hurricane
Benefit Qualifiers.

| Always
a favorite stop on the NBL National schedule, the 2004 Tarheel National
was the place to be racing this Memorial Day weekend. Check out all of
the
'Thrills and Spills' of this southern tradition. |
